Course Choice

Free Listeners can have access to all the courses offered by the University, in the form of lectures, with the exception of language courses, which are delivered to adults by the SUFCA Department, and quota courses (= supervised work or other courses with a limited number of places).

Does Not Allow to Obtain a Diploma

This status does not allow taking an exam with the aim of obtaining a diploma. There is no pedagogical registration.

Registration

Anyone paying €137 of tuition fees (€103 for registration and €34 for accessing the university librairies) can benefit from the status of Free Listener. 
Anyone wishing to register under this status must contact the Faculty, School or Institute offering the courses they wish to take in order to establish a year-by-year programme detailing the subjects they will have selected, both in Year 1 and in Year 3 if it is a Bachelor's degree.

The University of Free Time (Université du Temps Libre, UTL) also enables retirees to have access to the University as Free Listeners.
